Diego Serrano Ortega is a PhD student in Statistics for Data Science at Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) since 2024. He held a research position in the Department of Mathematics at Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) from 2023 to 2024. Diego completed his Master’s in Statistics for Data Science at UC3M (2023), and holds a BSc in Mathematics from UAM (2022).

His research involves statistical methods for analysing complex data valued on metric spaces, such as Fréchet random forests and Fréchet regression, and their applications.
