Diego Serrano is a PhD student in Statistics for Data Science at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) since 2024. He held a research position in the Department of Mathematics at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) from 2023 to 2024. Diego completed his Master’s in Statistics for Data Science at UC3M (2023), and holds a BSc in Mathematics from UAM (2022).

His research involves statistical methods for analysing complex data valued on metric spaces, such as Fréchet random forests and Fréchet regression, and their applications.
