Bio

Alberto Fernández-de-Marcos is a PhD student in Mathematical Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). He previously taught secondary education mathematics (2021–2024) and worked as a Data Scientist in industry (2018–2021). Alberto completed his Master’s in Statistics for Data Science at UC3M (2021) and holds a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2018).

His research focuses on goodness-of-fit tests in directional statistics.
