Alberto Fernández-de-Marcos is a PhD student in Mathematical Engineering at Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M). He previously taught secondary education maths (2021–2024) and worked as a Data Scientist in the industry (2018–2021). Alberto completed his Master’s in Statistics for Data Science at UC3M (2021) and holds a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Polytechnic University of Madrid (2018).

His research focuses on goodness-of-fit tests in directional statistics.
